Dolphin Press & Print is a premier printmaking atelier, distinguished by its celebration and commitment to the highest standards of the printmaking tradition.
Located in Baltimore at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), Dolphin Press & Print is the only university-based shop where students are the printers, not assistants.
As a teaching press, established artists work side by side with MICA students to develop and produce original work. The mentorship role between undergraduate students and Artist-in-Residence makes Dolphin Press & Print truly distinctive among its peers.
Dolphin Press & Print is creating future artists and collaborators who emerge from MICA as creative entrepreneurs with skills in master printing, archiving and curatorial practice.
